MCAT:
The MCAT (Medical College Admission Test) is a standardized, multiple choice, computer based exam that helps determine your eligibility for medical school. This exam tests your critical analysis and reasoning skills as well as your knowledge in General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, General Biology, Biochemistry, Physics, Psychology, and Sociology.
The composite score is on a scale of 472-528 with each of the four subcategories (Chemical and Physical Foundations of Biological Systems, Critical Analysis and Reasoning Skills, Biological and Biochemical Foundations of Living Systems, and Psychological, Social, and Biological Foundations of Behavior) being scored on a scaled of 118-132. The average composite score is 500 and the average subcategory score is 125.
